The AB-Fossil series features a raw surface finish combined with the big mechanical regular and hand hammering, resulting in a slightly dry tone, shorter sustain but a strong playability, and delicate sensitivity. It is currently the most complex cymbal in the Chang family in terms of craftsmanship.
